Internationally acclaimed image, Runner Up at Asferico Photo Contest 2020

One autumn evening, I spotted this barn owl fly into the trees. I waited in anticipation for it to re-emerge, hoping it would leave in my direction. As it did so, the soft late evening light caught the owl, lighting it up, leaving the shadows behind it.
