During the Summer months seabirds come to colonise the cliffs, including Atlantic Puffins, where they come ashore and breed in burrows. Being as far North as Unst in the Shetland Islands you can be treated to a host of conditions in a short period of time. The sun tried to break through thick moody skies, painting the sea in light and shadow, whilst a puffin sat on the edge of the cliff looking out, preparing for its next flight.
